The PLTL cheerleading program runs in our fall and winter seasons from August to March. It is open to all area girls ages 5-12.
The cheerleading program is managed by the Cheer Director, Michelle Capps, and Assistant Director Nicole Braswell.
Practices takes place weekly, day and time determined by your coach, at the PLTL Baseball Complex during Football Season and in the gyms located at Princeton Middle High School during Basketball Season.
Basketball practice day and times may be different than football depending on the gym schedule since the county and school control access to the gyms.
The PLTL Cheerleaders perform weekly during football and basketball season and therefore it is considered a two-season sport. As such, the registration for Cheerleading is typically open from March to June. The cheer directors and coaches typically hold a uniform try-on during the second week of July, but that is subject to change.
PLTL cheer uniforms are custom made and therefore we only place a single uniform order per year. If you would like to only cheer for a single season, you still need to register during our normal registration window and attend try-ons in July. The fee for Cheerleading is $150.00 annually and subject to change due to variable uniform costs. This is representative of the two-season nature of the sport and the cost of the uniform. We offer three separate teams:
1. Rookie ages 5-6
2. JV ages 7-9
3. Varsity ages 10-12
All questions regarding the cheerleading program should be directed to the Cheer Director or Assistant Director, but if you are unable to reach them, please contact the President of the PLTL Board of Directors.
